GOLD swimmers must register for 2012 and may
not attend organized club practices unless they have 2012 registration
(USMS insurance requirement).
Swimmers can either register with USMS online registration by clicking
the button at the right, or with a paper form which must be mailed in.

Ricardo Valdivia and Diane Babec won overall men's and
women's honors in the 2011 Florida Open Water Championship Series. Valdivia's
perfect score came from overall victories in the Swim Miami 4K, the Tropical
Splash 5K, and the Tampa Bay Frogman Swim. He was also All-American in
the USMS 10K Open Water Championships and second place overall. Babec
won the women's division with a fourth place overall (1st age group) finish
in the Swim Miami 4K, 10th overall (2nd age group) in the Crippen Mile,
and 12th overall (2nd age group) in the Tropical Splash 5K.
Other Florida Gold Coast LMSC swimmers placing were Luiz Andrade, UNAT,
1st in the 40-44 age group; Hugo Villa, UNAT, 2nd in the 45-49 age group;
and Bill Highsmith, UNAT, 1st in the 55-59 age group.
